Lailanni began drawing and painting at age five, teaching herself to render the world around her with striking accuracy — a gift she didn't recognize as unusual until much later. She has never attended art school; her only formal training came from art classes in middle and high school. After graduating, she spent years working in the film and fashion industries, channeling her creativity into other people's visions.

Last year, she returned to her own craft — first through pencil and marker sketches made purely for the joy of it, then, in January 2026, back into painting. By April, she had found the confidence and drive to begin a professional body of work meant to be shared with the world. She hasn't settled into a single style, and she isn't sure she wants to; she moves freely across mediums and aesthetics, drawn wherever the work leads.

For Lailanni, making art is less a career than a language — a way to give shape to feelings and thoughts that resist words. It's intuitive rather than logical, a form of insight and spiritual connection as much as expression. Her hope is simple: to stay inspired, to keep creating from the soul, and in doing so, to inspire others to do the same.
